　2004年7月28日, 在澳全國新聞俱樂部(National Press Club)發表演講和回答澳新聞界的提問，當被問及中共為何打壓法輪功時，此人照搬新華社誹謗法輪功, 顛倒正邪的做法，胡說國內法輪功學員什麼'自殺完滿'、'天安門自焚'等，以毒害西方人士，煸動西方人士仇視法輪功。

In August 2001 UN Economic and Social Council, the International Educational Development Inc. (IED) stated that their investigation into the persecution of Falun Gong had revealed that “the only deaths had been at the hands of the Chinese authorities.
