This year Master has given almost three weeks of Shen Yun performance to Sydney and also the ticket prices is adjusted, I have enlightened to that this is an opportunity given to Sydney practitioners to open up mainstream society and save people in the mainstream society. Then, where do we find these mainstream society people? We have had many discussions on this topic. In a Shen Yun meeting, a practitioner asked Master what kind of people does the “mainstream society” includes, Master answered (not original words) “Mainstream society includes white collar workers, doctors, lawyers, accountants….”. From Master’s fa we enlightened to that the mainstream society includes those workers working in the buildings of Sydney’s CBD area, this is because people in there are white collar workers, they also include professionals who are doctors, lawyers, accountants. Therefore, we formed a team of practitioners to visit all the buildings in the Sydney CBD area in order to bring the beauty of Shen Yun to all the workers working in those companies. Whether the method we used was suitable or not, this group of practitioners could step out to take on this responsibility only after they have endured many of their own difficulties and broken through a lot of their own notions. During this time there were many touching stories, these practitioners continuously improved their understanding of the Fa, supported each other, at the end the result was that more than 1600 companies were visited within three months. This allows many mainstream people to learn more about the beauty of Shen Yun, this group of people includes those ones who have heard about Shen Yun through other channels like advertising but still didn’t know what Shen Yun is.

During these three to four months, we have done a lot. But we realized that only when people buy tickets to see Shen Yun then they can be saved. How can we guide them to see Shen Yun? This is for us to think about and work on. This is also a cultivation process.

At the beginning of promoting Shen Yun to corporates, because of my work, I get to understand the operation of a company and know that they usually have the need to buy tickets to entertain their clients. So I have specifically designed a corporate package for companies. During the time I designed the package, I have spent quite a lot of effort to research into how other companies make Corporate package. After it is done, we have been using the Corporate package as our materials for visiting the 1600 companies.

During this time I have encountered some problems with the Corporate package, these problems is an opportunity for me to improve. During the time when we were promoting Shen Yun to companies, there were two practitioners who have been visiting companies have told another practitioner about some suggestions for the Corporate Package and then this practitioner told me about it. After hearing about it my first reaction is not accepting the suggestions and also didn’t want to hear about it, this is because I thought that I have already used a lot of effort to research into how ordinary people promote their products to companies. I felt that I have already done the right thing. At the time when I insisted my view, this practitioner reminded me that “If a coordinator cannot listen to other people’s suggestions, they will not be able to improve”. I suddenly realized I have forgotten this is not an ordinary job, forgot about looking within when encountering problems. We need to continuously let go of ourselves then we are truly cultivating. During the process of looking within, I have found the reason why I didn’t want to listen to other people’s suggestions. This is because of the show-off mentality, too focused on proving myself, insisted of “my way” is right, only wanted to change others but unwilling to change myself. I need to increase my capacity, let go of myself to get through these problems. This is like what Master said in ESSENTIALS FOR FURTHER ADVANCEMENT “Do you realize that as long as you’re a cultivator, in any environment or under any circumstances, I will use any troubles or unpleasant things you come across—even if they involve work for Dafa, or no matter how good or sacred you think they are—to eliminate your attachments and expose your demon-nature so that it can be eliminated, for your improvement is what’s most important. If you are able to succeed in improving yourself this way, what you do then, with a pure heart, will be the best and most sacred. ”

After thinking through this problem, I realized that why we have done so much, also visited so many companies but the result was not as good as we hoped. This is related to our cultivation and our thought. If we cannot let go of ourselves, gaps will be built up, as a result we follow the arrangement of the old forces and create obstacles to saving sentient beings. For example I know a company’s CEO, he told me in September that he wanted to order a Corporate package, but after following up with him many times he still hasn’t made the order. If we cannot make someone who already understands Dafa and Shen Yun to buy tickets, it’ll be even more difficult to convince other people. The fact that he hasn’t bought tickets tells me that there is something I still need to improve on. So I looked within and tried to think about what is the reason why his heart is still not touched. At the end I have found the reason-- I did not completely look at the issue from the person’s angle. This Corporate Package is our design, we used our way of thinking to create it, but we didn’t think about what do they need and how to touch their heart? Just like what Master said in Be More Diligent “Though a lot of you might be living here in Western society, in reality, you don’t really understand this place. What it comes down to is, you need to change the thinking that the Party culture instilled in you, and understand better how life works in the normal world outside of China. Don’t let human thinking always obstruct things. When you do indeed try to handle things according to Master’s wishes, but don’t do it the right way, things still won’t work out. Master told you to focus your efforts on higher-end society, yet you keep going out to places that aren’t higher-end. So naturally, things won’t work out. And of course, that means you are not truly cooperating. If Master asks you to work on higher-end society, just do it with righteous thoughts, and you will definitely succeed.”

So we need to use more effort to understand these people of the mainstream society. Only after we let go of ourselves and purify ourselves, then Master will give us wisdom to do things right. After this enlightenment, I decided to make an appointment to see this CEO in order to understand his needs more and help guide him to buying tickets. He agreed to meet us on the last day of working day 24th December. During the discussion, he gave us a lot of valuable suggestions and he also agreed to help us to design a Corporate Package that is suitable for his clients so that the order can be completed at the end. After this experience, I have realized that every company may have different needs because they may be from different universe and represent different groups of people. Therefore, we need to spend time to understand each of their needs, we cannot be like before using the same package for all the companies. Only then we can touch their hearts. Just like what Master said. If we want to save these people, we will need to spend the time to understand them. This is a process of cultivation--completely let go of ourselves, completely think of others, only then our Divine side will come out because Divine beings is completely think of others. So we need to do like what Master said “ What we’re doing is saving people, and gods are participating, so the cultivation states of Dafa disciples are very important. Putting on [Shen Yun] performances is also cultivation, and you need to cooperate with one another well. You should clarify the truth to the people you interact with, as all sentient beings are waiting to be saved.” “If you don’t have any human attachments, then you are a god.” （Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference，Sept. 5, 2010 ）

Let we all continue to cultivate ourselves well, purify ourselves, unconditionally look within when we encounter issues, then Master will give us strength and help guide all pre-destined sentient beings to buy tickets to see Shen Yun and be saved.
